History
Al-Sultan & Khalaf Trading Company was established in 1963 by Mr. Pierre Khalaf, presently Managing Director of the company. Mr. Khalaf is a self-made man who started the company from scratch by primarily beginning to import pumps from Italy and generators from the United Kingdom.
In 1979, a new partnership was born between the late Mr. Mubarak Al-Sultan and Mr. Pierre Khalaf with a capital of 100,000 KD. Both owners started to import various construction equipments, in addition to the traditional pumps and generators.
Later on, the company developed and, consequently, added to its original line of products many other exclusive representations from renowned manufacturers located in the United States, Europe and Japan.
Today and with a capital of 2,000,000 KD, Al-Sultan & Khalaf Trading Company has a showroom and an office area of 400 sq.m. in a prime location in Shuwaikh industrial area and counts 55 highly-skilled and experienced staff.
Moreover, the company has built 2 workshops: one for the repair and maintenance of generators and the other for light construction equipments and pumps.
Due to the growing demand in the market, Al-Sultan & Khalaf Trading Company have started construction of a 600 sq.m. modern showroom along with a 400 sq.m. office space and a 500 sq.m. spare parts store in the very near future.
